1. Who we are

MIMI is made by SUNFLOWER 83 ApS, CVR 44178680, Ny Carlsberg Vej 71, 4. tv., 1799 København V, Denmark. We are the data controller under GDPR Art. 4(7) for both the MIMI iOS app and this website. Contact us at labs@viet.dk.

2. Scope

This policy covers the MIMI iOS app (bundle ID com.sunflower83.mimi) and this website. It is versioned; the current version and effective date are shown above.

3. The short version

No account. No servers of ours. No analytics. No ads. No tracking. Everything MIMI knows about your baby stays on your device. The only things that leave your phone are a location coordinate and a search query, and both go straight to Apple, never to us.

4. What the app stores on your device

All of the following is stored locally, in an App Group container shared between the app and its widget. Nothing here is in iCloud or the Keychain, and none of it is transmitted to a server.

• Your baby's name and birthday
• Your last known coordinate and resolved city name, kept so the home-screen widget and background refresh can work without reopening the app
• A manually entered city (if you use that instead of location), your preferred transport mode, language, temperature unit, and reminder time
• Cached weather data and your trip plans

5. What leaves the device, and to whom

Two Apple services only. We have no backend of our own — nothing is ever sent to us.

• Apple WeatherKit — your coordinate, to fetch current weather. Governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
• Apple MapKit — destination search text and reverse geocoding, used for the city label and trip planning.

6. Location

MIMI requests when-in-use location access, at city-level accuracy. You can revoke it any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → MIMI. Without it, MIMI can't fetch weather or make a recommendation, though you can still enter a city manually.

7. Notifications

MIMI offers one optional local daily outfit reminder, off by default. It's composed entirely on your device — there is no push notification service and nothing is sent anywhere to trigger it.

8. Legal basis

We process what the app needs to function under GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (performance of the service). The optional daily reminder is processed under Art. 6(1)(a) (consent). We do not profile you and have no legitimate-interest basis to claim, because there is nothing to build a profile from.

9. Children's data

MIMI is used by a parent or caregiver, about their infant. Your baby's name and birthday are entered by you, stay on your device, and exist only so the app can compute an age in months for the recommendation. MIMI is not directed at children as users.

10. Retention and deletion

Because everything is stored locally, deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no server-side copy to request deletion of.

11. Your rights

You have the usual GDPR rights — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. On a device-only app, you exercise most of these directly: use "Erase all app data" in Settings, or delete the app.

12. Supervisory authority

13. This website

Hosted on Vercel (a processor, under standard contractual clauses). Vercel keeps brief server logs, including IP address, for security and abuse prevention. With your consent, we use Vercel Analytics for aggregate page views — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising use. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) (consent); you choose on your first visit and can change it any time (see our Cookies page). Nunito is self-hosted, not loaded from a font CDN, so no third party sees your IP just for reading this page.

14. Subscriptions

MIMI Premium purchases, when available, are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

15. Not medical advice

MIMI offers general clothing suggestions based on local weather conditions. It is not medical advice. You know your baby best.

16. Changes

We may update this policy as MIMI changes. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes, and the current version always lives at this same URL.
